2014 UAE Pioneers Book: an Encyclopedia for leading Emiratis in their fields
Dar Kuttab Publishing House will hold a special event to mark the launch of a new book “2014 UAE Pioneers” on Saturday, 7th November at 7 pm on the sideline of the 34th Edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair.
The book illustrates inspiring stories of 43 Emirati pioneers and their relentless efforts to serve the UAE and how they overcame challenges and served their nation, each in his/her field. They were awarded medals by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Launching the book comes after His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid launched the second edition of the UAE Pioneers initiative inviting members of the community to nominate leading and distinguished Emirati personalities to be awarded during the annual event in conjunction with the 44th National Day celebrations of the UAE.
The launch event will be in Dar Kuttab stand in the fair (Hall 1, Stand 71) where a number of UAE Pioneers will join as well as a number of writers. Invitation is open to media outlets and those interested to attend the event where the book will be signed.
